So, you’ve seen us play, or you’ve looked at our website and you’re ready to put on some skates and become a Rainy City Roller Girl???

We have Monday Night training classes where we will teach you everything you need to know in order to become a roller girl – starting with the very beginning steps of how to stand up on your skates/ how to fall, through to the more complicated steps like the rules of the game, and how tohit hard!!

So you want to play? Here’s how you do it:

1) Congratulate yourself on the first step to becoming an amazing Rainy City Roller Girl – you’re AWESOME!

2) Email us at: and let us know you’re coming – and your shoe size!

3) Think about what you’re going to wear – something comfy and stretchy like leggings and a tee work well – or of course, the Roller Derby uniform of choice works well too: shorts, fishnets and striped socks (and a top!!)

4) Come along on the next Monday night - 6.30pm -8.30pm* and meet our friendly Rainy City Roller Girls and awesome coaches, ready to fill you full of skating skills and Derby love!

5) Train hard, have fun &  fall in love with the Rainy City Roller Girls and the amazing sport that is Roller Derby!

 

*sessions cost £6, kit hire is included, we cannot be held responsible for the Roller Derby obsession which will soon rule your life, but we can help you get a fix every week!
